Dr. Weiner is a practicing clinical psychologist, specializing in addiction counseling for drugs, alcohol, or behavioral addictions (such as gambling, pornography, gaming, or sex addiction). He is also skilled in the treatment of traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), having trained in the VA healthcare system for three years.

Dr. Weiner uses an evidence-based and integrated approach to clinical treatment, drawing elements from cognitive-behavioral, motivational, and mindfulness-based theories.
