My guest for this episode is my friend and colleague, Ashleigh Nowakowski! Ashleigh is a preventionist and the past Executive Director of Your Choice to Live, a non-profit organization specializing in drug and alcohol prevention education. She has a Masters in Public Administration, and recently published her first book entitled The Shadow Child, in which she tells a deeply personal story about how she and her family coped with her brother's addiction and what she learned from the process.
